GetSmartmoodle.org is the little engine that could … I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I know I can, I know I can, I know I can, I knew I could, I knew I could… and that is the story of GetSmatmoodle.org the little moodle that did…

Just to let you know that fairy tales can come true to life… and GetSmartmoodle.org is not a dream, it is tangible and has substance; not like carbon-based life forms do on this planet, however, Getsmartmoodle.org has a life of its own now that it has the start on birthing papers – called a business plan that gives credence to its existence and tells the rest of the world that it has a reason and a purpose to exist on this planet. GetSmartmoodle.org occupies space and has mass. Its heart and mind are a battery, circuitry, and powered by electricity surging through its bios, and central processing unit giving it a life of its own; figuratively, allowing a person to reach beyond a mere mortals limited and finite self. Nevertheless, demonstrating life by nature of the bills incurred and generated; just ask Godaddy.com. Also, proving examples of life by means of a domain name and an IP address; yes, this moodle has its own home address.

Isn’t it amazing that life can be breathed into something just by the mere clicking of human (Organic) fingers to a keyboard allowing even an average person such as me to reach out instantly by messenger to communicate with someone on another side of the world or continent; and...

Getsmartmoodle is seeking educators, for future membership and use of its Moodle technology based on sound pedagogical characteristics. GetSmartmoodle.org is a Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment developed by Martin Dougiamas; for the creativity and research that led you to put this project together and create a Moodle application that you have so generously given to the world to produce and develop. Blackboard move over Moodle is making headway, as the rising cost education is having institutions seek a more affordable and sustainable means to solve this problem.

Hello well I did not make it into the past commentary but that's ok - I get my own little updates from Martin Dougiamas concerning the changes that he and his team of Moodlers are doing. But its been a very interesting time since I last wrote. I have now been approached by a member of linkedin.com to become a part of his new organization that he was forming - he had a host of backers and was dropping Oprah's name and really just name dropping all over the place and was offering me 5% of the future profits - that means 5% of nothing for now and I have already been operating on nothing for the last 10 months.

I also have a saint for a partner in India. He's putting up with me pretty well and it only took an ocean and a mountain range to find the best matchup ... lol .. well, maybe ... but its pretty cold out here and the temperature will fluctuate, I am aware of that. I have also made a great breakthrough ... I have gotten the new UI up on http://getsmartmoodle.org and I have figured out how to put my logo up on this UI and its just making me grin that this is all happening to me ...

Life doesn't look all that good but the little things that are happening are well worth the trouble.. I pray...and I cry a lot that its going to take all of this to pound some sense into my head. But stay tuned to this bat station and bat channel and see what happens next.

hi everyone - I posted this comment today on another blog that I found from a March 2008 discussion on Moodle versus Edu2.0 and other educational systems - will I be included - who knows or ... but I have been searching today to figure out if dimdim.com is really the system to go with... hmmmmm that is the question really ... Hello, I just wanted to make this quick post for anyone that was or is interested in the progress of Getsmartmoodle.org ... We are taking that move forward tonight if at all possible some few things have changed since I last wrote. I have learned how to install moodle themes to a small extent on site and there is a new theme up from NewSchoollearning.com and it looks basic nevertheless, has or could have possibilities - just like Getsmartmoodle has possibilities.. but there is also a new edition to the team - I have partnered with a young man in India by the name of Puneet - Webmaster wonderful... and he is or has been volunteering some of his time to help assist in this venture and it just felt right to share in the fun with him so I asked him to be a partner with me ... he replied, "50% of $0" well thats about the extent of it at present, but there is always hope and I have to have hope because things are not good ... and even if not ... this entire experience has been just great based on the people that I have in my life at present and those that will come.. http://getsmartmoodle.org has just been a delighgift to me and for me ... I smile so much more these days and want to be so grateful for the people that this venture is bringing into my life ... because its really about people even if at a future time there is money involved, today is the present and tomorrow's the gift ... of other people ...

Hello to everyone... I wanted to make you aware of a new startup website called Getsmartmoodle.org. Its a part of a growing network of Moodle portal sites across the globe. This organization is here to provide a meeting environment for groups, educational, individual, and business enterprise gatherings. It is our hope that Getsmartmoodle.org will be able to provide a useful meeting place for your particular activity. As our Organization grows we hope to provide a much needed service in the area of Civic, Business, Science, Computer Technology, Nano Technology, K-12 Education, College, and University.

As we are still in a start up phase of development I have just wanted to introduce you to GetSmartMoodle.org. Our website is presently up online however, it is not fully functional. Yet, we are looking forward to opening our doors for free services in the near future.
